King's Abode @ Castle St. Croix

We stayed a week in the King's Adobe and enjoyed every single day. The kitchen was such a great place to cook healthy meals, so we could stay on track while on vacation. Grilling on the outdoor grill or using the gas range gave a lot of options. The bed was so comfy it was hard to leave it in the morning and spent a few sleeping in. By far, the best thing had to be the location! Growing up in the summers on St. Croix, I knew the East End is the place to be and up on a hill where you catch the breeze. It was so quiet and peaceful, without a sound, other than chirping birds starting at sunrise. Looking out from the veranda to Buck Island and in the distance St. John and St. Thomas made the view spectacular. I even got some writing done and was able to push out some good work. Will be looking forward to coming back and enjoying the home again someday. This is a place where some special memories were made. Thanks again to the Calabash team!
