- **Henry Tim**: "We stayed a week in the King's Adobe and enjoyed every single day. The kitchen was such a great place to cook healthy meals, so we could stay on track while on vacation. Grilling on the outdoor grill or using the gas range gave a lot of options. The bed was so comfy it was hard to leave it in the morning and spent a few sleeping in. By far, the best thing had to be the location! Growing up in the summers on St. Croix, I knew the East End is the place to be and up on a hill where you catch the breeze. It was so quiet and peaceful, without a sound, other than chirping birds starting at sunrise. Looking out from the veranda to Buck Island and in the distance St. John and St. Thomas made the view spectacular. I even got some writing done and was able to push out some good work. Will be looking forward to coming back and enjoying the home again someday. This is a place where some special memories were made. Thanks again to the Calabash team!" (10/5)

He was easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. King’s Abode is a perfect getaway tucked into the hillside on the east side of the island. About halfway up you’ll hit an unpaved road, so you’ll want a Jeep or SUV to get up there without any issues. The house has everything you need, and the views from the wraparound porch are hard to beat. If you’re looking for peace, seclusion, and quiet, this place really delivers." (10/5)
